San Diego Pain Summit 2017

Massage therapy will be unavailable at Mainland Clinic from Tuesday Feb 7th to Monday Feb 13th 2017.

I'm thrilled to be attending the 3rd annual San Diego Pain Summit, an incredible conference that helps physical and manual therapists incorporate pain science into clinical practice. It's also a chance to meet and catch up with my pain-obsessed friends and colleagues over beer and Mexican food.

I was fortunate to attend the inaugural event in 2015, with none other than Prof Lorimer Moseley, a physiotherapist and world leader in pain research, as keynote speaker. To learn more about his fascinating original research visit

This year I've secured one of the last spots in keynote speaker Prof Peter O'Sullivan's workshop Cognitive Functional Therapy, a holistic and evidence-based approach to treatment of disabling back pain.

If you're a professional who works with people in pain you should be there! It's not too late to join us. And if you're a person living with pain check out PainBC's 2nd Provincial Pain Summit Feb 17-19 in Vancouver.

I'll be back in the clinic Tuesday Feb 14th. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more updates!
